First day of the World Press Cycling Championship
The game is afoot!
Todays race was the ITT – Individual Time Trial.
The stage was set in the village Løvel – situated in beautiful landscape 10 km north of Viborg. The landscape is undulating, formed by the last ice age, and the route was variated with some wind and gave good conditions and times for the competing participants.
The fastest circuit and todays best time was made by Tijmen Moltmaker from The Netherlands, who finished the route in 14,22’’ with an average speed of 46,773 km/t.

Second day of the World Press Cycling Championship
Todays discipline was Sprint. 1000 meters of hill climb with a average gradient of 4,5%. The Sprint was part of L’Etape Denmark by Tour de France, where the WPCC-riders did either the 50 km from Funder to Viborg or the 75 km from Nørre Snede to Viborg

Congratulations to all the winners – and a special congratulation to Tijmen, who also won not less than all three jerseys of the 50 km race from Funder: the green jersey, the polka dotted jersey and the yellow jersey. Great riding, Tijmen!

Third day of the World Press Cycling Championship
In a beautiful weather with blue sky, a lot of sun and also quite some wind the participants once again gathered in Løvel. This time to compete in road race.
The route was undulating and challenging – and in beautiful Danish Summer landscape alle riders ”took it out” and really gave it all in the race.
After respectively five rounds for M3 and six rounds for M1 and M2 the first three in each category were:

After the award ceremony the WPCC flag was handed back to Viborg, as the WPCC2026 (and 2027) will be held in Viborg the last week of June these in close cooperation with L’Etape Denmark by Tour de France and the municipality of Viborg.
